The Delphi dual power relay (Delphi part number 52411816) is designed to provide continuous 115 V AC power for the Delphi enclosure blower (Delphi part number 52402550) and other fans and motor-driven devices. Capable of automatically switching a 5 Aload during a power failure, the dual power relay can power other fans and motor-driven devices commonly deployed in data centers. With 5 A re-settable circuit breakers, the dual power relay can easily handle the largest fans currently used in data and server cabinets. Two different colored 6' long power cords help ensure that power cable routing won't be a problem.

The Delphi dual power relay is designed to be mounted on the vertical uprights with a standard 1 RMU (rack mount unit) filler plate (not included) or it can be mounted in the zero-RMU space inside the cabinet.

While the switchover speed from the utility supply to battery/generator backup is more than rapid enough for fans and other motor-driven devices, the dual power relay is not intended for use with digital equipment such as computers or other equipment requiring a constant, uninterrupted source of power.
